Outdoor living is a fantastic way to extend your home's living space and connect with nature. From comfortable seating and dining areas to functional cooking spaces and aesthetic touches like lighting, outdoor living embraces various elements.
I truly believe the effort one puts into styling the inside of their home should also be put into styling the outside of their home. The picture above is one of our latest virtual designs we styled for our client’s new screened-in porch and deck. In this virtual design, we included comfortable, weather-resistant accent chairs and a sofa for a conversation area. An umbrella on the open deck over the dining table and chairs provides shade and makes the space usable, even during hot days. For alfresco dining, we added an outdoor dining set on the deck. For a cozy, intimate atmosphere, we included lanterns and a fire place. To define the spaces with comfort and style, we incorporated outdoor rugs and throw pillows. We also included tall plants to create a sense of seclusion. Last, but not least, for entertainment, we included a TV so the family can watch movies, games, etc. while enjoying the outdoors.
Styling this virtual design for this client's outdoor living space was about blending functionality with comfort and style. I wanted to make it a true extension of their home where they can relax, entertain, and enjoy nature.
